  Worst customer service and very rude when dealing with complaints!! I ordered portable a/c online, don't know what happen on jb's online ordering system but from Melb warehouse it was sent to Pacific Fair however we're from Syd. It's already 3 weeks and i haven't received my item. So I called our local store and was diverted to Pacific Fair because apparently our local store cannot further open the system to have a look. To make the story short (after 2 days of me figuring out where my order is through calling and online tracking) I was able to get my tracking number and found out that my order was just in Pacific Fair QLD since Dec 1 ready to be collected. There was no call nor email from them. So I lodge a complaint because I am very furious that it took very long plus if I have not followed up online and called other branch I won't be able to know that the product is just sitting on their store. Then I got a call from Pacific Fair Jb Hi Fi staff (not sure if she's the store manager but sounds like) who was very rude in dealing with my complaint!!! She made it sound like she has to call me because she received the complaint I made. It even sounded like it was silly of me to lodge the complaint! She was pushy and even tried to turn things around that it was a system error! And even said it was not because of my follow up that prompted them to ship my order but because of the follow up from their online enquiry (but who sent the email to their online enquiry? Still it was ME!) If a customer lodge a complaint why can't you solve it in a professional and friendly manner?? Who would not be FURIOUS waiting for the item for 3 weeks! And when I called their brach for the first time they even asked me to come in there to collect the item! So from Syd I have to fly up to QLD just to collect my order?? Who would not be pissed off? Still I am not happy because of how Pacific Fair handled my complaint!!

  Fair prices, sales people who aren't pushy and if you buy lots of items and they generally have some wiggle room on prices. Blu rays and games a bit too pricey but often have 20% off sales which help in time. All round great retailer. Web site not that great an experience which would benefit from less branding IMHO, but far better than it used to be.
